Congratulations to the Boston Celtics for winning their 17th NBA Title in franchise history. I predicted the Lakers would win and I was wrong. I underestimated the Celtics, who were definitely a hungry team that just wanted it more. Paul Pierce will finally get his recognition as an elite player in the league as he has always been and KG seals his worth and greatest as a player as well. The Lakers, who seemed to have it all together, are still a few steps behind. Kobe needs more help and Odom and Gasol were exposed and proved they are not the answers to the Lakers Championship hopes.
Good series but, the Lakers doomed themselves with that Game 4 meltdown loss. Expect to see the same two teams in the Finals next year. Do the Celtics have what it takes to create a dynasty? Only time will tell.
