Positive Thinking ----What Do You See?

This post was taking from The Think Movement and it is thought compelling to me. Read what is written.

"Life at any time can become difficult or easy. It’s only our mode of thinking that makes something either good or bad. Positive thinking is simply reacting positively to any situation.
Although we can’t always control our circumstances, we can control our own thoughts to them. Things often seem to turn out best for those people who can make the best out of any situation.
So…how would you think your way out of the situation displayed in the picture?"

I agree with the statement about positive thinking is simply reacting positively to any situation. But is it really that easy? There are emotions, feelings that have to be dealt with that make it hard to think positively. No, we cannot control our circumstances that are given to us in life, but we can control our thoughts and actions. I definitely agree with that. What I have a problem with is that the way positive thinking is sometimes ask us to ignore things in order for there to be a good outcome. Sometimes you have to take things for what is there. In my opinion, I do not believe there is a such thing a positive thinking. There is only reality. We have to take what is there and make the choice to react wisely in that situation and sometimes the best reaction is not always the 'positive' one.

What do I see in this picture? If I am the guy coming into the door, there is nothing to be explained. But I can choose to listen to the explanation. However, actions peak louder than words and where things go from there is only a matter of choices that stem from the reality that a man is in the bed drinking wine in your home with another man.

Simply put. Positive thinking can make a fool of us at times and people who think positively don't necessarily always have the best out comes. Thinking wisely in a realistic manner always goes further.

(With all that said, this picture tells a million stories. What do you see?)
