Proof that Money Runs Our Country: Sheldon Adelson

This is Sheldon Adelson and he is the third richest man in the Unites States. He is worth $20 billion. What makes his billions so important is his access to the President and the fact that his billions influence the politics and foreign policy of our country. America prides itself on being a democracy, but is that in fact true. Are the only voices that are listened to and make things happen in the country are the voices that have checks to back them up? Money really does talk in the world today. I wonder, is this what the country was built on? Is it right? Is it because of this fact that the country is in the state it is now? Where the poor are getting poorer, the rich are getting richer and the middle class is being eliminated by simply trying to remain middle class? It is sad, but on so many levels, money is the only thing that talks anymore. It is the driving force behind so many things int he past, and now it seems to be the driving force behind our country, the one thing we are supposed to have trust in and be able to believe in.
